Warner Bros. Interactive & TT Games have announced expansion plans for LEGO Dimensions. More and more info is being shownย before E3 actually begins next week, so just add this one to the list.

After news of Disney shutting down their Disney Infinity toys-to-life games just a few weeks ago, it looks like the Warner, TT, and LEGO teams are hard at work expanding their universe. Check out the always-fun LEGO take on the new characters in the trailer below:

LEGO Dimensions: E3 Trailer - New Adventures Await!

With the addition of new properties, the game will now include characters and stories from 30 different universes. The expansions will be rolled out starting this September with these packs:

  • Ghostbusters Story Pack
  • Adventure Time Level and Team Packs
  • Mission: Impossible Level Pack
  • Harry Potter Team Pack
  • The A-Team Fun Pack
LEGO Dimensions Sonic
Sonic speeds into Mordor through LEGO Dimensions in 2017.

Waves 6, 7, 8, and 9 will be added to the Dimensions universe over the course of the next 12 months. They’ll include a ton of other fantastic properties and characters as well:

  • Sonic The Hedgehog
  • Teen Titans Go!
  • LEGO City Undercover
  • Knight Rider
  • The Powerpuff Girls
  • Gremlins
  • Beetlejuice
  • E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
  • Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
  • The LEGO Batman Movie
  • The Goonies

There are a ton of really great possibilities with these new additions. As always the fun and humor will be present throughout. But another way the game’s universe is expanding is through a 4-player split-screen mode called Battle Arenas. The mode was teased a few months ago, and will now be released between the 6 and 9 waves early in 2017. The arenas will feature their own set of traps, interactive environments and more, in theย Free Play Adventure World for competitive gameplay.
