Here are some of the highlights from Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Plankton spotlight.
Plankton Debuts In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 With a Character Spotlight
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is a cross-over fighting game featuring Nickelodeon’s various cartoon stars. Arguably the most popular of Nickelodeon’s cartoons, Spongebob and Friends have been heavily featured in the first game’s roster. However, the diminutive antagonist of the series, Plankton, was sadly not included. Now, Plankton makes his debut in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 alongside Squidward as the new Spongebob representative. The game is being developed by the same company that made the original, Ludosity.
Plankton Brings Projectiles and Grappling To The Table
Until now Plankton’s Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 move set has remained a mystery. However, now, in a trailer full of references and jokes, Ludosity shares that Plankton will be an ultra-heavy zoning grappler. This means he can utilize a variety of projectiles to attack from afar, and can also dish out damage at close range via grabs. Despite being a tiny character in the show, with his mech, Plankton becomes the largest character in the game. For projectiles, Plankton can utilize the slowing sauce to keep a distance or a large laser for damage. For grabs, Plankton has a long-range net cannon, as well as a close-range piledriver. Additionally, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2’s Plankton can float briefly in the air, making up for his lack of mobility. Finally, for his ultimate move, Plankton will self-destruct his mech, dealing massive damage.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 will be released on October 24, 2023. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.
