About the PowerWash Simulator 0.8 update
In this update, players blast away layers of grime while uncovering some of the town’s hidden history. The four new jobs bring new challenges and locales to the game. Either lean off the eggy engine of a stunt plane or take your business on a field trip to uncover the secrets of an ancient statue. Express your vision of cleanliness with the Fortune Teller’s Caravan. Additionally, explore the largest level yet, the abandoned Subway Platform.
Lead Designer Dan Chequer had this to say about the new lore to be found.
We’re really excited to tease a little more of the lore in the latest update. We’ve loved seeing the community’s theories on where the story will go, and we hope this gives them a little more of an insight into what’s to come.
On top of the new jobs, the PowerWash Simulator update also brings a Vintage Car challenge and new sprayer and character cosmetics.
More fixes under the hood
In addition to the new content and cosmetics, PowerWash Simulator has plenty of updates on the technical side. Firstly, an unconventional fix to get save data up to date with 0.8. If the player had a level in-progress before updating, that level will now be auto-completed upon joining after the update. Players will receive all money from any auto-completed levels.
Secondly, is a fix for the previously slipper ladders. In this new update, players no longer slide off the sides of ladders.
