Ubah Hassan has just been included in the new RHONY cast, and she fears for her weave on the intensively competitive show. The beautiful Somali-Canadian model told Page Six at the Angel Ball on Monday night.
The 35-year-old beaut pointed out that she wears a weave, and she hopes no one throws a drink at her if they end up fighting. She doesn’t want it to get wet and messed up, forcing her to wear her own hair.
The supermodel also opened up about getting tips for the show from her cousin, Chanel Ayan of The Real Housewives of Dubai. It’s normal for Ubah Hassan to fear for her weave on RHONY.
But her cousin has warned her to just have entertainment and drama. Chanel also told her to do nothing ill-intended and that she should have fun and shouldn’t go below the belt.
Ubah Hassan Gets Tips From Cousin as She Fears For Her Weave on RHONY
The show is yet to start, and Ubah Hassan is already worried about her weave on the revamped RHONY. It means that this season will be quite entertaining.
In a bid to prepare her for the toughness of the show, Chanel told Ubah that others won’t mess with her because of her Somalian origin. In her words:
‘Look, you are from Somalia so you will be fine. They will think twice before trying to mess with us.’”
The philanthropic model was announced to join the Season 14 cast of the show alongside six other housewives at the BravoCon. Andy Cohen revealed creative director Sai De Silva, model Ubah Hassan, and home renovation guru Erin Dana Lichy.
Others include former J.Crew president Jenna Lyons, influencer Lizzy Savetsky, and fashion publicist and brand consultant Jessel Taank. Making the list also is brand marketing and communications professional Brynn Whitfield.
It’s a tough list. Little wonder Ubah Hassan is worried about her weave in the Season 14 of RHONY.
Production begins this fall, and the season premieres in 2023.
