PlayStation Plus users are in for a treat as a surprise bonus game has been added to the lineup in April 2023. This unexpected addition has excited many gamers, and they can’t wait to get their hands on the newly added game to the roster. This addition will also be available to the Premium Members. PS Plus Extra is getting a new game for April.
PS Plus Extra Adds New Game For April
If you are a PS Plus member, we have good news. Sony has just added a new game to the PS Plus Extra and Premium subscription catalog: Anodyne. Each month, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers get access to new titles, and Premium users even receive additional bonuses like the ability to play select PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3 games.
Sony updates PS Plus Extra and Premium lineups in the third week of the month, and some games leave the service around that time. The final list is announced a few days before, and games aren’t added to PS Plus without an official announcement. Anodyne appears to be an exception, as it was added as a new bonus title to PS Plus.
Anodyne is a top-down action-adventure game with elements from The Legend of Zelda franchise. It received positive reviews and a score of 75 on Metacritic. Sony added several notable titles to PS Plus Extra in March 2023 but reserved Anodyne as a surprise for April.
According to TrueTrophies, Anodyne was added to the collection of titles available for PS Plus and Premium users on April 4 without much promotion from Sony. Despite this, players with higher-tier PlayStation Plus subscriptions can download and enjoy the game without any additional charges.
