Have you ever wanted a waffle maker that could make some Sonic-themed waffles? Sonic fans certainly do because it was a highly requested merch want. Like, high enough for Sega to greenlight it. If you frequent Dave & Busters, keep an eye out for this cute waggle maker that’ll be available as a prize for scoring some tickets. Uncanny Brands and Sega have partnered up to create the new Sonic Waffle Maker. The Sonic The Hedgehog News unofficial page announced the recent release, showcasing the item and the kinds of waffles it makes.

It’s nothing too complex, admittedly. Although I personally was surprised by the fact that it doesn’t just have a standard waffle press inside, but rather one with Sonic’s face on it. Considering that this is a prize available at Dave & Busters, it will likely be one of the most expensive ones ticket-wise to purchase. If you’ve ever frequented Dave & Busters, you know that they have a relatively frequent history of showcasing Sonic-themed items. These include walkie-talkies, pillows, and even plushes. The manager of licensing of Sega of America had this to say during the announcement of the merch:
“You asked for it! We could not be happier to deliver. We’ve teamed up with Uncanny Brands and Dave & Busters to fuel your morning routine with the Sonic Waffle Maker! Fans have made it loud and clear that they want more Sonic appliances in their kitchens, and we look forward to satiating their demand (and hunger).”
Matthew Hoffman from Uncanny Brands also had this to say:
“At Uncanny Brands, we love celebrating pop culture and iconic video game characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog, We can’t wait for Sonic fans to try out the waffle maker first-hand and we can’t wait to see what types of creations they make!”
The waffle maker itself seems to be relatively well-built. Although small, it’s perfect for getting a collector’s item or a cute display in the kitchen. What do you think? Will you be hunting down your local Dave & Busters to try to score this neat collector’s item?
