Fortnite added the new Tactical AR with the v29.30 update. If you ask me, this new weapon is much, much better than the Warforged Assault Rifle. I had the opportunity to use the Tactical AR for a short time, tried its Rare and Epic Rarity, and the result was quite good. While using the Warforged Assault Rifle felt more like playing Escape from Tarkov or Rust than Fortnite, with the Tactical AR we’re finally back in Fortnite again.
How To Get Tactical Assault Rifle in Fortnite
Like many other weapons in Fortnite, the Tactical Assault Rifle is found as floor loot and in chests. You can also get this weapon by capturing Floating Island or killing other players.
Currently, Fortnite has the Warforged AR, Nemesis AR, and Ares’ Warforged AR as assault rifles, and I can honestly say that both Warforged ARs are terrible. Since the release of Fortnite Myths & Mortals, I’ve been using the Nemesis AR when I need to use an AR, but it’s likely that the Tactical AR will be my favorite.
There are some very powerful loadouts available in Fortnite right now, especially with the arrival of Avatar the Last Airbender. So, speaking for myself, I haven’t felt the need to use AR for a long time. However, as I mentioned before, the Tactical Assault Rifle looks quite powerful and worth using for now.
