Riot Games is known for its animated music videos for its esports events. Today, the publisher has released the new Valorant Champions 2023 song, and let’s just say it will make a fine addition to most playlists. The song by Grabbitz and bbno$ is called Ticking Away and has lived up to the Valorant music videos since the game’s release. Grabbitz should sound very familiar to anyone following the Valorant competitive scene, as he also performed another fan-favorite song for Valorant in 2021 titled Die For You. This marks the third animated music video from Riot Games for the Valorant Champions event. The last one came out in 2022 and was called Fire Again.

The Valorant community is on fire seeing the return of Grabbitz, and you can watch the video below:

That is not all, the new Valorant Champions 2023 event will be accompanied by new exclusive skins. The Champions 2023 bundle will launch alongside the event. The new cosmetics are slightly divisive, with most fans citing that the new knife skin is underwhelming because it lacks any unique animations, but the limited edition Vandal is quite eye-catching and has people excited.

The Valorant Champions 2023 animated video shows some action scenes in the familiar art style but also shows the struggles of making it to the top. According to fans, the video packs an unexpected emotional punch for anyone who has been keeping an eye on the esports side of Valorant.

In other Valorant news, after a lot of waiting and requests from fans, Valorant is finally launching in China and the launch will add some highly asked for features. The game also got update 7.01 recently. The update fixed most of the complaints players had with the massive 7.0 patch, and also made some balance adjustments to agents, competitive modes, and more.
