Being an MMO RPG, New World is a game full of things players can do. From exploring the vast and expansive world to engaging in quests with friends to customizing your character with armor and weapons, there is always something to do in the game. Runestones are gems that players need to craft Heartgem Runes in the game. These runes can then be used to increase stats such as damage and defense in the game. While the process of crafting Runestones is simple, it is lengthy. In this guide, we will cover how to craft runestones in New World.

How To Craft Runestones In New World

Stonecutting is used to make Runestones in New World

In order to be able to craft Runestones in New World, players will need to have a tier five Stonecutting Table and level 200 in Stonecutting. Below are all the items you need to craft Runestones:

  • To find a tier five Stonecutting table, head to any settlement that has one. Such settlements are usually found in higher-level areas of the game.
  • To reach level 200 of Stonecutting, use a Stonecutting table to craft items repeatedly until you reach the level.
  • Obsidian Sandpaper: You will require one of these to craft Runestones. This can be done at any Stonecutting table using Masterwork Material Converter and 20 Flux. The level requirement will be 150.
  • Obsidian Void Stone: You will require five of these for runestones, which can be made using eight Loadstone Bricks, three Loadstone, and an Obsidian Sandpaper.
  • One Loadstone: You can get loadstones by farming Loadstone nodes.

Once you have all these items, take them to any level five stonecutting table and use them to craft runestones in New World. Once you have started crafting Runestones, you can then use them for crafting Heartstone gems.
