S Tier
Even though this Tier includes the best weapons in the game, Rapier and Life Staff really standout from the rest.
Rapier (PvP)
The rapier is a favorite among others because of its counterattacking effect. It’s a rather large and long weapon, which allows you to get not so close to your opponent and easily make a powerful combo by causing bleeding. To master the Rapier, you will need to invest points in Dexterity and Intelligence, and over time, you will understand why this weapon is the best in the New World PvP tier list and can be a perfect choice for many builds.
Life Staff (PvE)
Life Staff is considered one of the best weapons in the game for both modes. With this weapon, you can not only effectively attack, but also heal yourself and your allies, which is why we considered it the best weapon. With the right upgrade in the skill tree, you can significantly increase your health and protection and thus can heal your team as well. To master this weapon, you need to significantly increase your Focus, so make sure you’re on the right way.
A Tier
Weapons from this category are not as powerful as S-Tier, but they are still a great choice for almost any battle. Among these options, we consider the best to be Bow and Sword and Shield.
Sword and Shield (PvP)
If you like an aggressive playstyle, then a sword and shield in close combat will be the best choice. The perfect balance of attack and defense, along with upgrading your Strength and Dexterity, will make you a real monster on the battlefield. Yes, it may take some time to master the mechanics, but skills from the Swordmaster and Defender trees will help you create incredible strategies. It’s worth noting that you can use both sword and shield separately, but together they give you incomparable power and are suitable for many New World PvP builds.
Bow (PvE)
The bow is the opposite of the sword and shield. It is more suitable for a long distance, that is for players who are confident in their accuracy, agility, and coolness. Fortunately, the game has many opportunities to improve your archery with Skirmisher and Hunter trees. This way, you can easily maneuver quickly and destroy all targets before they see you. In addition, you will also be a great cover if your team goes into battle.
B Tier
If you do not have access to the weapons from the tiers above, you can use the best options from this category, namely Fire Staff and Spear.
Spear (PvP)
The spear is a good two-handed melee weapon with a long-range, giving you more time to counterattack before the enemy approaches. Thus, you will be able to defeat enemies one by one if you level up Zoner and Impaler trees and create a good strategy. Also, it is excellent for 1vs1 battles.
Fire Staff (PvE)
An excellent choice for attacking a crowd of enemies and total control of the battlefield. This weapon will give you the ability to shoot fireballs and set enemies on fire to deal additional passive damage from burning. To master the weapon, you will need to upgrade the Fire Mage and Pyromancer trees, but the downside is that the mechanics are quite difficult to learn.
C Tier

Hatchet (PvP)

This weapon is unique because it is designed for melee fights, but when you upgrade Berserker and Throwing trees, you can unlock a skill that allows you to throw an axe. In fact, this weapon is superb for PvP because with the right build, you can quickly hit the enemies, restoring 30% of your health at the end using Berserking Refresh.
Musket (PvE)
The main advantages are that you can deal quite a bit of damage from a distance and set traps. On the other hand, you need a clear strategy, which can be a problem in dynamic battles. If you want to master this weapon, then Sharpshooter and Trapper trees are something you need to focus on, as well as improving attributes such as Dexterity and Intelligence.
