A new trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles X, the newest entry in the Xeno series, has just been released by Nintendo Japan on their official YouTube channel. Starting in 2054, the game follows the passengers of an American evacuee ship called the White Whale, as they crash land upon the planet Mira while escaping the destruction of Earth.

The trailer starts with planet Earth exploding, and follows the conflict caused by the humans arrival on Mira where they are once more forced to fight for their survival against an alien race.

In case you missed it, you can also watch a 30 minute gameplay video by clicking the link.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo for the Wii U. It is scheduled for release on April 29, 2015 in Japan, and sometime in 2015 for North America, Europe and Australia.
