Biker gangs are some of the roughest and toughest people around, and often, they tend to have a negative connotation attached to them, whether earned or not. However, one biker gang from New York defied some stereotypes after they chased down a racist who called a Black man an offensive slur. After catching the racist, the biker gang even went the extra mile and made him apologize.
The incident occurred around early February in New York City. Apparently, the victim was merely eating in a restaurant when another man walked up to him and called him a racial slur. It’s not clear what provoked the racist, but it appears he ran away to the parking lot or likely further after hurling the slur. It was then that the nearby biker gang intervened due to the commotion.
In the video, you can see the gang already dragging the racist back to the restaurant after successfully chasing him. One of the biker gang members even mocked the man, saying, “Show them who the gangster is now,” before entering the restaurant door. The gang then took the racist man to the Black man so he could say “Sorry.” After that, he had to endure the walk of shame while everyone in the restaurant taunted him.
The biker gang has since been identified as the Lords of the Kingdom of Dutchess County, based on their jackets. They have since earned praise for their efforts to curb racism wherever they are, as many commenters have celebrated, “Humanity wins everytime. Let’s spread love. Not hate. Love conquers hate.”
There Are Different Kinds of Biker Gangs Out There
The Lords of the Kingdom, for that matter, is one of the friendliest and most exemplary biker gangs out there, with many people commending them for their morality. One X commenter even stated that, “Never heard of bikers giving a [expletive] about racial slurs.” Indeed, they are not a monolithic organization, and many of them are decent human beings, though some have praised the specific state as a major contributor: “New Yorkers are built differently.”
Sadly, not all biker gangs share the same belief as the Lords of the Kingdom. Some, such as the Aryan Nations Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club, are controversial, as you can probably tell by the name. There are many others as well, and most of them are considered outlaw motorcycle gangs for their beliefs.
In any case, Lords of the Kingdom and many others like them are hopefully enough to counterbalance the outlaw biker gangs. “Bikers are always so sweet in real life they just have bad PR,” claims a certain commenter, while another has echoed the sentiment further, “I luv biker gangs, when I start my old man logan arc in 25 years imma be in one lol my vest gone say ‘still raising hell’ on the back.”
