Another day, another overly entitled Karen. While we’ve witnessed some real humdingers recently, like an elderly bloke trying to start a fight with a young DoorDash driver and an Alabama woman who wouldn’t share access to a driveway that isn’t even hers, a new obnoxious lady has been spotted out in the wild. Specifically, a Karen was arrested in New York recently for vandalising a parked Bentley vehicle with her keys.
A video of the arrest has surfaced on the r/KarenGoBrrr sub-reddit, and it also features actual footage of the Karen in question carrying out the vandalism-related crime. The clip is split into two parts, and is accompanied by the video description “Woman gets arrested for keying a Bentley truck.”
In the first segment, it showcases the Karen getting placed in handcuffs by the New York police officer while the Karen’s young daughter next to her cries loudly. The witness recording the footage can be heard questioning her, “This is how you raise a kid, ma’am? I hope the daughter learned the mistake.”
The second part of the video shows evidence of the Karen doing the deed, and it’s damning evidence, no doubt. As the Karen walks alongside the white Bentley truck, you can clearly see her scrape the side of the vehicle with her keys in her right hand, as she walks her dog on a leash.
Reactions to the footage have been critical, with many criticising the Karen at the heart of the incident. One Redditor wrote, “Some people are just that damn miserable that they can’t see people happy….” while another opined, “For the life of me, I cannot understand why people do things like this.” Elsewhere, another commenter chipped in with, “2025 … CCTV wherever you go… someone’s got a smartphone within 2’ of anyone .. n yet people do this ? N the poor dog w a sh*tty owner“
