The high-profile legal battle between It Ends With Us co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni returned to a New York federal courtroom on Monday, less than a month after the public believed the bitter Hollywood dispute was finally behind them. Men, most notably, were angry on Justin’s behalf, stating that false accusations can too easily ruin a man’s career and life, which sparked major online arguments.
Attorneys representing Lively appeared before U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman to press a post-judgment motion demanding that Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, pay her legal fees and unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
The financial demands stem from a $400 million defamation countersuit that Baldoni filed against Lively last year, which the court dismissed. As posted by New York Post on X, many folks were in the comments and they were angry to say the least.

According to Courthouse News, Baldoni’s defense team fiercely rejected the new financial demands, labeling the motion an “end run” around the jury trial that both parties explicitly waived when they settled weeks ago. Judge Liman reserved his decision on whether to allow expert testimony regarding Lively’s alleged career losses.
Who knows if this will be the end of the long-running feud between these two outspoken New York stars, but hopefully it ends amicably.
