TikTok is rising around a New York veteran who took to the platform to fight for his niece. The video, captioned, “To the teacher who thought it was okay to bully my niece…” user wolf_ace33 reveals that his family was targeted for racism. With more than 150k views so far, his followers are giving him support… and offering to rally for the cause.
“To the teacher who thought it was okay to single out the only black kid in his class, my niece,” wolf_ace33 says in the video, “this message is for you.” He goes on, saying, “Step one is done. We told the principal, he’s aware of the whole story, and his lack of concern led to a very swift step two.” He then says that a Google search reveals the school is already facing a lawsuit for racism.
“A lawsuit that entails a black cheerleader being walked around like a dog on a leash,” he says. “That cycle of racism, that cycle of whatever’s happening over there, it’s going to end. And it’s going to end at my hands.” The OP proceeds to explain about his virtual reach and how he served his country among diverse groups of people. At the end of the video, he cites how different his beliefs are from the school’s, saying, “You try to embarrass my niece and make her the center of your lesson. Today, you’re the center of mine. But we’re different. I’m willing to lay my life down for your family. Imagine what I’m willing to do for my own.”
Viewers didn’t hesitate to jump in, offering to fight for wolf_ace33’s niece. “I’m from South Africa, we ride at dawn,” one user said. “Brooklyn checking in. Whose car are we taking?” Another user commented. Many offered support from around the world, saying things like, “She’s our niece now,” and “Hello, consequences.” One thing is for sure: TikTok isn’t playing around, as one user said. “All we need is a first name, homie.”
