A New York woman posted a heated response to a Haitian American woman referring to black Americans as “dirty” on the Daily Rap Up Crew podcast. The moment left podcast hosts stunned, and viewers enraged. The podcast begins with her asking someone what their background is, after which they answer that they’re Haitian. Her next response is, “You American? Dirty black American?”

The other host is shocked at her question and asks her to clarify what she said. She initially acts confused, but when the host repeats what she previously said, she responds, “You heard that? You just asked me what I said.” When asked why she said it, she answers, “Because that’s why ya’ll are. Dirty black Americans.” The host tells her to “chill out” with the comments. And she says, “I’m sorry. You really took offense to that.” The host replies, “Anybody would take offense to it.”

In response to these comments, the New York woman created a video to call her out, “Dirty black Americans. All while looking aesthetically like a black American person.” She continues, “Just because you had a bad relationship or a bad friendship, it does not mean you get to disrespect an entire group of people.” The woman goes on to say that there are “many other Caribbeans who think like her, especially black Caribbeans.” However, she doesn’t want people “to think all Caribbeans think like that.”

New York Woman Calls Out The Disrespect

To her, this is a “form of self-hate.” She explains, “You yourself are a black person.” The New York woman continues by saying the lady is “too comfortable with disrespecting another black person or another black group of people.” She describes the live moment as being “very distasteful to see.” The New York woman expresses shock at how “she said it like it was nothing.” In reality, she takes it as a “mad offense.” The main thing she wants to know is why the lady thought “it was okay to get on that podcast and disrespect an entire group of people?”

The New York woman goes on to argue, “Do you not see what is happening here? This is why Diaspora wars be happening.” She adds, “Because of people like her.” The video continues with her saying, “These are the same people who fought for rights that you benefit from.” The woman adds that the lady was able “to come to this country and benefit from those rights that they fought for.” The behavior has her confused.

She concludes the video by saying she now understands “why many black Americans are like ya’ll too welcoming.” Many agree with her, swearing they won’t “spend another penny” at her store. Others take issue with the hosts’ continued interviewing of her despite the insult. The New York woman explains, “You welcome these people into your circle, right? And then they feel like they can just disrespect you like it’s nothing.” She concludes, “This is not okay.”
