Yet, the last person anyone would have imagined to make people smile is none other than President Trump’s third wife, Melania Trump. While many aren’t too keen on seeing the unremarkable First Lady’s self-titled movie, plenty more are more than eager to see all the memes and humor that the documentary indirectly produces. Already, many people, even news anchors on live TV, are having a hearty laugh at how ridiculous it is that her film even exists.
Posted on TikTok, 9News’ Today Show hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo interviewed New York comedian Pete Dominick about “Melania Trump’s $57 Million Flop.” Dominick wasted no time throwing shade at the First Lady while pointing out how the director of Melania is none other than someone named in the Epstein Files. He also threw a few fun jabs about the ticket sales for the film, to which the two hosts couldn’t help but laugh, not like they weren’t already grinning from ear to ear the entire time with laughter.
From multiple well-known media outlets across the internet, many predict the movie to be a massive flop, on top of being very negatively reviewed by the public. Already, people are saying how bad the documentary is, not to mention it’s very contentious to like it in the first place, considering that Melania’s husband is one of the most controversial people on the planet right now. But in other news, the Melania movie is also gaining attention in the public streets and areas of LA, California, where locals have started to vandalize ad posters by Amazon.
One notable poster was photographed by TheyreEatingTheD0GS and posted to r/pics, where someone drew Hitler’s iconic moustache on Melania’s face. There’s a strong connection between Nazis and ICE, so this joke should come as no surprise to people. The Reddit post is filled to the brim with people criticizing the movie that they don’t want to watch, but rather be thoroughly entertained by. “Who is that movie even for? No one has any interest in this?” questioned a commenter. “Amazon bribed the President of the States of America,” remarked another.
That all being said, while the Melania movie might struggle to see ticket sales, one TikTok comment made a good point: “You know what is sold out. IRON LUNG Produced and Directed by Markiplier!!” It goes without saying that the world is more interested in a video game movie starring a beloved YouTuber than some shilled propaganda by Amazon. At the very least, Melania is providing some comic relief to the internet while her husband continues to wreak havoc across the world.
