Something is wrong here

When Joe Biden was president, there was a lot of debate about whether he was fit to rule. This dialogue reached a point where many republicans started calling him “Dementia Joe.” Now that Trump is the president, the focus is shifting to him. People have been dissecting everything he says or does to try to find reasons to call him unfit as well. Trump has just given people a new reason to do so. While speaking in front of world leaders at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, he kept calling Greenland Iceland. It’s hard to come back from this because he did that several times and not just once.

Trump confuses Greenland and Iceland and says this about NATO: “Until the last few days when I told them about Iceland, they loved me. They called me daddy.”

The video of Trump confusing Greenland with Iceland is currently circulating as people started mocking him. “When I told them about Iceland, they loved me. They called me daddy, right? Last time, very smart man said ‘he’s our daddy. He’s running it.’ I was like running it. I went from running it to being a terrible human being.” The internet was divided between focusing on the Iceland-Greenland confusion or on the fact that he said the word “daddy” in front of world leaders.

Another video showed Trump making the same mistake again as he said, “But now what I’m asking for is a piece of ice. Cold and poorly located. I don’t know that they’d be there for us. They aren’t there for us on Iceland that I can tell you. I mean, our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland. So Iceland’s already cost us a lot of money.” That’s definitely not a good look. The TikToker who shared the second video couldn’t help but call Trump a “confused dementia-filled man.”

People Reacting to Trump Confusing Greenland With Iceland

It’s safe to say that Trump’s confusion made a lot of people mock him. Since a president shouldn’t be unable to name the country he is talking about, one person wrote, “Trump is CLEARLY UNFIT.” Another person believed that it’s embarrassing to be American as they said, “I’m so embarrassed to be American.” Someone else added, “I’m embarrassed he’s our president.” One TikTok user also believed that Trump’s supporters won’t hold him accountable following this. “He’s convinced the insanely gullible and/or cruel that the ENTIRE world is fake news outside of him & Fox News. He’s THIS confident they will double check NOTHING,” they wrote.

More people expressed their disbelief that anyone is still supporting Trump after such a video. “HOW CAN THE REPUBLICANS NOT SEE THE OBVIOUS?! The whole freaking world sees it,” one person asked. Another person asked for help as they wrote, “….. Congress? ….. ANYONE that can do something?! You there?!” Someone else added, “The most powerful man in the world has no clue what he’s talking about. Invoke the 25th amendment already.” Even Canadians were embarrassed as one of them commented, “The way I hate sharing a border with the US now.” This is definitely a fascinating video.
