NHL 23 Update 1.60 Patch Notes
To take advantage of the new crossplay feature, players will need to navigate to the Play A Friend tab in the HUT Main Menu. Once there, they should click on the new Private Game tab.
When starting a Private Game, players will need to set a password and ensure that their opponent sets the same password on their end. This allows for easy matching and eliminates the possibility of being paired up with the wrong opponent. Once both players have set the same password, they can select Start Game, and the game will automatically matchmake the two players against each other.
With this new feature, HUT Play a Friend matches will be more accessible and convenient, as players can now play against their friends on different platforms, opening up new opportunities for friendly competition.
