Nick Carter and other celebrities are reacting to Aaron Carter’s death. Aaron was found dead yesterday, having drowned in his bathtub. His relationship with his brother of the Backstreet Boys was part of his claim to fame, and their complicated relationship has been frequently covered in the media. Nick spoke up on Instagram and Twitter today to share his grief over the loss of his brother, writing, “My heart is broken. Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never faded. I have always held on to the hope that he would someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help he so desperately needed. Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness are the real villains here. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you baby brother.”
