Nicole Kidman is a mom to four kids. The Oscar-winning actress and her husband Keith Urban have two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. She also has two kids, Connor and Isabella, from her first marriage to Tom Cruise. Unfortunately, like many families, Kidman has been estranged from her older children. While she doesn’t have much of a relationship with Connor and Isabella, she still loves them.
Nicole Kidman Hopes For a Reunion With Kids Connor and Isabella
Kidman and Cruise were Hollywood’s power couple in the ’90s. In 1992, they became parents when they adopted their daughter Isabella. Three years later in 1995, they adopted their son Connor. Although they looked like a picture perfect family, in 2001 the couple divorced.
Following their split, the couple shared custody of Connor and Isabella. The kids remained close to their mom and were even part of her 2006 wedding to Urban. However, over the years, a rift grew between the three.
The estrangement reportedly stems from Connor and Isabella following in their father’s footsteps of becoming Scientologists.
It’s been over a decade since the Aquaman actress has seen or talked to her children. A source recently spoke to OK! Magazine about where things stand with everyone.
According to the source, Connor and his mom “don’t really communicate.” However, Isabella is a different story.
When the Moulin Rouge! star was recently honored with the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award on April 27, Isabella liked her mother’s Instagram posts from the event. The source believes that the liking of the posts proves “Bella still has affection for her.”
Although the estrangement is still intact, Kidman hasn’t given up on her children.
Nicole will always hold out hope that they can all be close again one day.
With enough time and patience maybe the estrangement between them can end, then Kidman’s family can be complete with all four of her kids.
