Today is a good game for everyone who owns a Nintendo Switch. With the Nintendo Direct now over, we are happy to say that the announcements were pretty good. We saw things that we were expecting. Such as Monster Hunter and Persona. One thing that we did not expect was to hear that Nier Automata is coming to Nintendo Switch. While there were some rumors online, we didn’t think it was going to be made official today. Regardless, we couldn’t be happier!
Nier Automata Nintendo Switch Edition Releases In October
Nier Automata arrives on the Nintendo Switch this October. Pre-orders are already up on the official Nintendo Store website. This version of the game will be NieR: Automata The End of Yohra Edition. It was announced that this game will include the full game plus all of its DLCs. It will also include new costumes. The game will cost $39.99, and it seems it will not be a cloud version like other games.
Nier Automata was first released in 2017 only for PlayStation 4 and Steam, with an Xbox One release the year after. This game received a lot of praise due to its story and combat. Being an ARPG, players could customize various things about the character. The game included some difficulty modes, with the hardest making you restart the game after taking one hit.
The world of Nier Automata has grown in popularity over the past years. We have seen a lot of media, including crossovers, in other games. The acclaimed MMO Final Fantasy 14 had a crossover during their Shadowbringers expansion. And recently, a Nier Automata anime adaptation was announced. This is all perfect for people who want to jump in into the world that game director Yoko Taro has created. Now we are really excited to play this game once more on our Nintendo Switch.
