Inflexion Games Reveals New Gameplay Trailer for Nightingale
One of the most anticipated games of the year, Nightingale receives a new gameplay trailer at The Game Awards. At this point, the latest trailer shows off players the many perilous challenges of Fae Realms and how to overcome these. Besides, the game is currently in Closed Alpha testing with the community, and it’s truly in the pipeline.
Some of the new features detailed in the trailer include:
- Caves: Lying in the subterranean depths of the Realms, exploring these caves leads to a host of discoveries and danger
- Gliding: Use a magical umbrella and glide across the skies of the Fae Realms, allowing players to travel quickly, search with a bird’s-eye view, and avoid or, in more dire circumstances, outrun the dangers lurking in the Realms
- New creatures: Some of the deadly creatures that you’ll face include Giants, Elder Eotens, and fire-spitting Bound – each presenting a daunting challenge to any Realmwalkers who cross their path
Nightingale is set in an alternate history Victorian timeline in which humanity is scattered across the realms of Fae after the collapse of their portal network. Craft, fight, and explore as players venture through mystical portals into a variety of amazing and fantastical realms. Build a life in the Faewild, reconnect the sundered realms, and perhaps players will find their way back to the magical city of Nightingale, the last known bastion of humanity.
Nightingale is currently in development for Early Access PC release in 2023.
