PAX West and Nintendo Live will be running alongside one another during Labor Day weekend. The events will go from September 1 to 4 at the Seattle Convention Center. For the Nintendo event, registration starts May 31 at 9 a.m. PT through June 22 at 11:59 p.m. PT. It is free, and people will be randomly drawn to attend.
If you are attending PAX West, you will have a separate registration to win tickets to Nintendo Live, as these events are not combined but are separate. The page emphasizes that badge owners will not guarantee access.

The two events will make for a big day for Seattle. While PAX West is a staple for attendees, Nintendo Live has been subject to Japan in previous years. The weekend will mark the first time the event has happened in North America. Fans will be able to see live shows, play games, attend or watch tournaments, and buy exclusive merchandise. The tournaments will be the finals for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 3. The qualifiers for Splatoon will be on June 3-4 and June 10-11. Registration for Mario Kart is up, with the qualifier on May 27.
The schedule for PAX West does not have details. It has details up for the show hours, but what showcases, tournaments, and other activities will be revealed 30 days before the actual event. Doors will open on June 1 from 10 a.m. PT to midnight. That schedule changes on the last day, which goes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Expo Halls are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.
Not much is known about what Nintendo Live will deliver. It was announced back in April, giving fans the curiosity of what the event is like after Japanese attendees have had access before. This will be post-Tears of the Kingdom, so whatever the company has will be interesting to see.
