According to Nintendo’s maintenance schedule, “some network services,” including online play and rankings may be unavailable when the maintenance begins onย Monday, January 11 at 5 pm PT, 8 pm ET. Services should be back up and running the following day at 3 am PT, 6 am ET.ย You can see the service alert below.ย The exact times for all regionsย are below.
- 5 PM PT (Jan. 11) โ 3 AM PT (Jan. 12)
- 8 PM ET (Jan. 11) โ 6 AM ET (Jan. 12)
- 2 AM in the UK (Jan. 12) โ 11 AM in the UK (Jan. 12)
- 3 AM in Europe (Jan. 12) โ 12 PM in Europe (Jan. 12)
So far, it isn’t clear what is meant by “some network services”; whether that means the eShop, Miiverse or Nintendo Account functions for Japanย will be unavailable.
2016 is shaping up to be a big year for Nintendo.ย The company will launch its first smartphone game, Miitomo, in March.
