The July 16 date for No Hard Feelings with Jennifer Lawrence has been known for quite some time, but Sony has released a red band trailer for the upcoming comedy (seen below). The footage shows a wiener joke, plenty of underage drinking, and a near-death experience with a train.
The No Hard Feelings trailer sets up Jennifer Lawrence as an Uber driver who lost her car. Without work and risking losing her home, she takes on a job from the parents (Matthew Broderick, Laura Benanti) of a 19-year-old (Andrew Feldman) to get him out of his shell before he goes off to college. This leads to giving him his first drink and putting him into more intimate situations with the hope of getting laid.
The film is directed by Gene Stupnitsky (Good Boys), who co-wrote the film with John Phillips (Good Boys). The Silver Linings Playbook star produces with Alex Saks, Naomi Odenkirk, Marc Provissiero, and Justine Ciarrocchi. Phillips and Kerry Orent serve as executive producers.

The film has quite the cast to deliver its plentiful laughs. Starring alongside the leads are Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Natalie Morales, and Hasan Minhaj. Other stars include Danielia Maximillian (Pam & Tommy), Scott MacArthur (El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie), Kyle Mooney (Saturday Night Live), and Quincy Dunn-Baker (Sharper).
The No Hard Feelings trailer shows a new light for Jennifer Lawrence. She had blown up in the early to mid-2010s with Oscar nominations and a win for Silver Linings Playbook to blockbusters like Hunger Games and the Fox X-Men franchise. She had slowed down and has made a resurgence with last year’s Don’t Look Up and her latest film Causeway, which is nominated for an Oscar for Brian Tyree Henry’s supporting performance.
No Hard Feelings will hit theaters on Jul 16.
