Fans might be saying goodbye to Hawk Tuah Girl sooner than expected. 22-year-old Haliey Welch became an overnight viral sensation in June when her graphic depiction of oral sex made waves on TikTok. However, now that her brand is growing, Welch is trying to clean up her image a little bit more.
During a recent appearance on on the dating show West Date Ever, the influencer got candid about her feelings towards her infamous nickname. When asked, “Are you okay with the name Hawk Tuah Girl?” Welch bluntly answered, “we’re trying to step away from it.” She admitted to host West Wilson that she would prefer to be addressed as Haliey. “I’d rather just be known by my first name, not Ms Hawk,” she explained. However, despite wanting a rebrand, Welch intends to profit off her fame as Hawk Tuah Girl.
“We’re steering towards podcasts and stuff like that. And a reality TV show, we’ve talked about it.”
She, however, didn’t go into details about what the new projects would entail. Previously, Wilson opened up about his desire to help Welch leave the NSFW nickname behind. “Everyone has a story and I wanted to get to know more about her and help her leave “Hawk Tuah” in the past,” he told Page Six.
