Marvel’s Inhumans movie, originally set for a release date of July 12, 2019, has been taken off of Disney’s release schedule. This news confirms the rumors that have been floating around the internet for the past couple of weeks.
The movie may have been removed from the release schedule, but that doesn’t mean that the movie has been cancelled altogether. According to reports, Marvel still has to figure out when they want to premiere the movie. As of now, the Inhumans movie has shuffled out and the recently announced Indiana Jones movie has been put in in its place with a premiere date of July 19, 2019.
When it was first announced back in October 2014, Inhumans was given a 2018 premiere date, but was then pushed back to 2019. Since October, Marvel has announced Ant-Man and the Wasp and Spider-Man: Homecoming. The Spider-Man reboot is set to premiere on July 7, 2017.
Fans of the Inhumans can still watch Agents of SHIELD to catch some of the group on screen. Fan favorites like Black Bolt and Queen Medusa haven’t made their way to live action yet, but fans can still catch Quake (Daisy Johnson) and Hive in the current season. With enough fan support, it probably won’t be long until we finally see the king of the Inhumans on screen.
