Every soccer match often begins the same way; players from both sides scramble for ball control and goals. But behind the chaos lies a skill-based system that rewards instinct, strategy, and mastery of your mechanics. Playing smart is the key to winning, whether you’re just getting started or want to climb the ranks. Our Roblox Project Egoist guide will take you from noob to pro, and rank every Style along the way.
Roblox Project Egoist: Noob to Pro Guide
1. How to Get Styles in Roblox Project Egoist

Your basic shot is M1, while M2 is used for passes, and T is used to request a ball. Nevertheless, you probably shouldn’t rely too much on basic shots to score goals or keep away enemies from the ball. Instead, you should spam your Skills as often as you can.
All Styles basically come with 3 basic Skills:
- A dribble.
- A shot.
- A special move: another dribble, another shot, a pass, or even a trap.
For example, Isagi’s C Direct Shot has more range than the standard shot, making it useful even outside of the goal area. Meanwhile, Sae’s Cross Elastico can help you evade enemies and make a shot with just a press of a button. Just be mindful of their cooldown period.
The Project Egoist Style gacha costs 500 Yen per spin or 5,000 Yen per 10 spins. Money can be obtained from daily rewards and, of course, winning matches. Thankfully, any Style you’ve pulled will be permanently saved in your Inventory, unlike Azure Latch.
The default Style you’ll always get is Isagi. Here are the drop rates for all Style rarities:
- Legendary: 2.5%.
- Epic: 32.5%.
- Rare 65%.
2. Change Keybinds or Mobile Buttons to Make Control More Comfortable

As using Skills is crucial to winning matches, make sure your control lets you perform them as fast as your instinct. For example, I keep forgetting to use Super Dash with the R key and Slide with E. Because of that, I replaced the default Run button, Left CTRL, with Dash as I turned on autorun anyway.
While you’re at it, don’t forget to tweak the Settings as well. There are options for Head Camera Movement and Camera Shake. Personally, bobbing camera makes me uncomfortable, and normal, smooth camera turns are much better for tracking and aiming the ball. Especially in chaotic team fights where clarity matters most.
3. Hold M1 at an Aerial Ball to Perform a Special Jumping Volley

One trick that separates the noobs and pros in Roblox Project Egoist is the volley shot. You can perform a unique aerial kick or somersault volley shot as the ball drops from the sky. Simply hold the M1 key, and your character will automatically do the volley kick when the ball reaches them.
You can wait for the right moment when your teammate performs a pass that soars through the sky or an opponent misses their shot. However, you can actually do the volley kick by yourself. Just kick the ball straight to the air and hold M1. Usually, a more technical player combines the feature with other mechanics. For example: First, they kick the ball to the air > Do a header/jump > Do a volley near the goal.
4. Super Dash Does Not Come with Invincibility Frame

Many Roblox players might be used to the fact that action games provide dash as a means to dodge attacks. But not in Project Egoist; it exists only as a mobility option. If you use Super Dash while dribbling a ball and an opponent slides toward you, then you will get knocked down.
Super Dash also has a rather long 5-second cooldown, so you can’t do it too often. This seems intentional, encouraging players to focus more on passing and teamwork rather than constant solo plays.
5. The Meta Movement Option in Roblox Project Egoist

As mentioned before, using Super Dash willy-nilly will leave you wide open. Still, that does not mean you should save it for crucial times. Instead, treat it like a tool for repositioning, cutting off passes, or creating quick scoring opportunities. Using Super Dash and Slide quickly in conjunction is also pretty much the meta mobility option in this game.
A more pro Roblox Project Egoist players usually do this kind of rotation. Slide > Perform a header/jump > Super Dash while in the air > header again. If you play as Kaiser, you can even combine the movement combo with Blitz to make you much more unpredictable.
6. Flow or Awakening is Essential to Turn the Tide of a Match

Like other action-based Roblox anime games, your character can perform an Awakening or ‘Flow.’ The meter fills up gradually over time, but actions like passing or shooting will accelerate the process. Once the bar is full or your character’s aura glows bright, activate it by pressing F.
When your Flow is active, an additional V-key move will appear in your Skill list. This will be your ‘super special move’, such as Magnus Shot or Blind Spot Direct Shot, that are hard to block. The bar will slowly deplete, but it will instantly run out once you use the V Flow move.
7. Don’t Be Afraid to Play as a Goalkeeper

Last but not least, while there are four attacker slots, having a goalkeeper is crucial to keep your team from losing. Playing goalie can feel a bit stressful, but Roblox Project Egoist handles it fairly. The game shows the opponent’s shooting trajectory clearly when they have the ball. Plus, the goalie’s hitbox is forgiving, making it easier to block shots even if your timing isn’t perfect.
All your character’s Skills are also available to be used. That means you can Slide, Super Dash, or even activate Flow to make clutch saves when needed.

- Kaiser: This character has all the perfect moves for any attacker. Even his Flow can outmaneuver and penetrate opponents’ defenses. However, his Skills are completely useless if you’re playing as a goalkeeper.
- Sae: Sae comes equipped with powerful Skills for attackers. Curve Shot and Magic Turn are very aggressive moves, and his Flow easily negates defenses. However, Perfect Pass is a bit disappointing since it can still be intercepted.
- Isagi: Simply put, he’s the perfect all-rounder and it’s no wonder he’s the default Style in this game. His Flow shot is extremely strong and he comes with all the bells and whistles to learn the game. Isagi’s main issue is just that all his other Skills are easy to counter.
- Nagi: Despite being an Epic character, Nagi is pretty disappointing. Lack of defensive and dribbling moves, meh offensive Skills. Nevertheless, he can hard-counter high curved balls easily like Kaiser’s shots with Control. A very situational character and can be hard to use.
