Much like the baby monitors of a paranormal movie, a North Carolina man was horrified to discover what was being shown on his newly installed security camera in his garage. The camera was placed near the ceiling, so it views the room from an overhead angle, a regrettable position for Reddit user 200Grit. In a video he shared on r/Wellthatsucks, his reaction says it all: the camera reveals a large bald spot he wasn’t ready to see.
“Have you ever seen someone in real time discover they are balding? Well now you can say you have,” wrote Grit. He claims the point of the camera was so his fiancée would be able to keep an eye on him, in case he got stuck beneath the car. What he didn’t realize is that the camera would also reveal that he was developing quite the monk’s spot on his head.
“My head starting to look like my car,” he sighed jokingly, referring to the white roof of his car. “Some owners start to look like their pets. Others start to look like their cars,” chuckled a commenter in response. As for how other Redditors reacted, many were fortunately supportive and encouraging to Grit, saying that he had nothing to be afraid of.
