The next-gen remaster of Observer, newly titled Observer: System Redux was recently teased by developers Bloober Team. Now, the first trailer for Observer: System Redux has been released. According to the trailer, the next-gen title is due for ‘Holiday 2020’. The original Observer was released in August 2017, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Set in the year 2084, in a rather bleak and dystopian Krakow, the cyberpunk thriller follows late Blade Runner actor Rutger Hauer, who sadly passed away last year. He stars in the role of Daniel Lazarski, a detective, or ‘Observer’, investigating a mystery in an apartment block.
Bloober reveals that Observer: System Redux will feature updated visuals, as well as enhanced gameplay and new story elements. Bloober, known for Layers Of Fear, also states that Observer: System Redux will be coming to next-gen consoles. It would make sense then that the remaster would be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
