A post on the social media platform X claims that entrepreneur and politician Vivek Ramaswamy won every Ohio county in the GOP gubernatorial primary at 82.5%, and commenters in the state are furious.
The post was made by Eric Daugherty, the Chief Content Officer of Right Line News, where commenters used the reply section to make their concerns heard. One person even wrote, “I wanted the White Christian conservative man to win. Not the anchor baby scammer.”
Attached to the post is a video that features Ramaswamy speaking to an audience concerning various policies he expects to implement during his time in office, should he be elected. According to Daugherty, “His opponent didn’t stand a CHANCE! 👏🏻 Time to keep Ohio red 🔥“
Ramaswamy is an entrepreneur who founded the biotechnology firm Roivany Sciences as well as co-founded the Ohio-based asset management firm Strive Asset Management. It wasn’t until 2023 that he became involved in politics, having declared his candidacy for the Republican nomination for president of the United States of America in 2024.
The 2026 Ohio gubernatorial election is the first that he filed for, announcing his candidacy in early 2025 with a monumental endorsement from President Donald Trump who posted, “Vivek is also a very good person, who truly loves our Country, He will be a GREAT Governor of Ohio, will never let you down, and has my COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT!“
Some commenters under the video don’t feel the same, with one person writing, “Funny, Gunther just posted this exact same thing, almost verbatim. How do you sleep at night taking globalist money while endorsing anti-American slime like Vivek.“
Reactions to Vivek Ramaswamy Allegedly Winning Every Ohio County
Various replies under the video come from others in the content creation space, such as Kacee Allen of The Kacee Allen Show, who wrote, “We’re going to make sure anchor baby Vivek loses even if we have help a democrat.”
Allen’s post linked another one of his own posts that detailed his meaning a bit more, writing, “Vivek Ramaswamy may have defeated Casey Putsch tonight, but outsiders like him, James Fishback, and Thomas Massie are the future. There’s a major shift happening with Gen Z and we don’t approve of the current political apparatus, unlike a majority of Fox News boomers who will blindly vote for whoever their party instructs them to.“
As the post continues to go viral, X users are still expressing frustration.
