You know what? Maybe this will work.

Crime is probably everywhere around the world, no matter what the state of the country is. Kidnapping is also something that, unfortunately, happens a lot. This makes people start creating ways to stay safe while out there. You would think that staying safe probably entails buying a self-defense tool or having pepper spray. Well, an Ohio woman has in mind a crazy way of how she will try to avoid getting kidnapped. She plans to lie on the ground and start rolling around. Some agreed with her that this would be effective, while others needed more convincing.

In the video posted by the Ohio woman, she is walking and talking about how people are telling her to be careful because of kidnapping. She makes it clear that she isn’t afraid of getting kidnapped because she believes she won’t. “I’m 266 pounds,” she says. Her plan? If someone tried to kidnap her, she would lie down and start rolling like a crocodile (I didn’t know crocodiles could roll) until she reached safety.

“You can’t pick no 266 pounds,” she insists. She then adds that no one can get her because her skin is too soft and she’s too slippery. The Ohio woman also challenges people (probably kidnappers) to come at her if they want to. I can see her point. Like I can imagine it, but I’m not 100% convinced, and so are others.

People Reacting to the Woman’s Video

Over 30k comments were left under the Ohio woman’s video. One person hilariously described the Ohio woman’s plan as “Stop Croc & Roll.” Another woman believed that this plan was actually solid. “Crocodile roll to safety!!! Yes! My big self now has a new self defense move! Thank you for the inspo!” she says. Another person wrote three reasons why they can’t get kidnapped as well. They said:

“1. I’m fat.

2. I’m loud. And dramatic.

3. If they get me, I guarantee they’ll bring me back.”

One TikTok user even said, “I always say ‘If you can kidnap me, earned [sic] it’” Another woman shared what her husband told her as they were watching the Ohio woman’s video. “My husband said ‘wanna bet?’ Then you said I’m lotioned up and too slippery and he was like ‘ok’” One person then asked for a “demonstration,” and thankfully, the Ohio woman provided one.

Ohio Woman Trying to Prove Her Point

Following comments asking for a demonstration, the Ohio woman posted a video showing what she meant. She even brought a man to act like a kidnapper who is trying to pick her up. So A for the effort. Now, after seeing the video, I actually see the vision. After she stops, drops, and rolls, you can see that this might work, especially because she is rolling fast. “I wasn’t ready for the speed of the roll,” one person wrote. Another said, “Why are you so fast with it though. I’m honestly impressed!”

She then posted another video that appeared to be in a parking lot. Again, she shows her “crocodile roll,” and again, it’s too fast. The final video she posted is with a man named John, who is supposed to pick her up. While John managed to stop the crocodile roll, he still couldn’t pick the Ohio woman up. So she still won in my eyes. Maybe the Ohio woman’s plan, along with her speed and weight, will actually keep her safe.
