A tense scene unfolded in Oklahoma on a sunny afternoon, a supporter of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement was caught in a heated argument with protesters hurling fiery comments, even escalating to threats.
As seen on Reddit, the clip opens up with the MAGA supporter in one of the protesters’ faces, pointing and shouting. “What are you calling me?!” he yelled. The protester asked calmly, “Are you a pedophile?” Getting more agitated, the Trump supporter responded, “No, you f**ktard, I’m not!”
The Trump critic wondered why the Republican supporter was getting annoyed. The protester baiting the man asked, “Trump is a pedophile, right?” Definitely not having or falling for it, the Trump supporter vehemently denied the accusation. Soon, the MAGA loyalist got frustrated. He turned halfway, stretching his arms out in disbelief. “God, you’re so uninformed and stupid,” he spat.
Subsequently, other protesters drew to the scene. While the other protesters countered his words and made several comments, the MAGA supporter was focused on driving his point home. “You’re an idiot”, he retorted. Not backing down either, the protester responded, “That’s okay.”
As the argument grew intense, some of the protesters’ dogs became agitated and barked even louder. Visibly irritated by the noise from the dogs, the man snapped, “Get the f**k out of here.” He then asked why they were still here if they didn’t like what was going on in the country. “Leave the Republic”, he bellowed.
“I didn’t vote for a pedophile. You voted for a pedophile, I didn’t,” the protester argued. While the argument continued, the MAGA man turned away from the first protester he was talking to and faced the one with the dogs. After the duo exchanged a couple of words, the protester with the dogs shouted, “Did you just threaten to kill my dog?!” “You better get the f**k out of here”, he concluded.
The dog charged at him, while the protester restrained the dog. “You’re going to f**king leave now!” the protester commanded. This exchange roused a lot of comments from the Reddit community.
“Typical Trump supporter/ pedophile sympathizer. Even if we did bring up evidence, it wouldn’t make a difference because they can’t read!” One netizen stated. Another, likening MAGA loyalists to cult members, shared, “I agree, you can’t converse with a cult member.” One Reddit user felt the MAGA’s emotional outburst was because he was ashamed, writing, “Sounds like he felt ashamed of being a pedophile. He was getting wildly emotional about it.”
Another Redditor questioned, “Why would he threaten to kill the dog? Republicans always seem to have trouble managing their anger. Lmfao snowflakes.” With political tensions super heightened, arguments like this are bound to happen, but they should never result in threats of physical violence.
