In an interview with Vogue, she shared her views on marriage, saying, “It’s a covenant. It’s the beginning of the rest of your life — and it’s the union and bond of two people forever.” Which is why she chose a stunning but exceptionally classic Dolce & Gabbana gown, complete with a veil. “I wanted something that felt as serious as that commitment,” she says.

Olivia Cuplo’s wedding to Christian McCaffrey at Watch Hill, Rhode Island, is a day she will never forget, and she had a very clear vision of what she wanted it to be like. “I didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form,” she said of her outfit. “I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complimenting me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity.”
She also admits to having her husband’s preference in mind when choosing her wedding gown. “When I think about Christian and what he loves and the moments that he thinks that I’m most beautiful, it’s absolutely in something like this: timeless, covered, and elegant,” she shared. In addition, it was important for her to exchange vows in a church, as she referred to it as “our number one priority.”
While her views are certainly not for everyone, and some people may disagree with her conservative statements, it appears this was Olivia Culpo’s perfect wedding dress and wedding day.
