Once Human is about to open its ever-changing realm to new, bizarre, and engaging things to do. So far, we’ve seen many updates lately bringing QoL features, cosmetics, and gameplay additions. Yet, this time we’re getting even more, in what seems to be one of the most packed patches for the game. Once Human 1.6.1 will feature its PvP mode, a new scenario, survival and combat changes, a lot of new items, the Visional Wheel S1 event, and much more. So if you’ve been relaxing in Eternaland for a while, now’s the time to jump into some zero-gravity fun and some Meta-Human vs Meta-Human antics.
Once Human 1.6.1 is Now Available
In case you missed it, Once Human launched 1.6.1 on May 21. This major patch brought many additions, including the long-awaited PvP mode in early access and a new scenario. If you and your Meta-Human have been away for a while, here’s what awaits you.
Starfall Inversion (May 21 to Late September)
From 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., players will be able to enter Stellar Levity, a new low-gravity state. Everyone will get increased airtime, more load capacity, and immunity to fall damage. However, the real reason to enter this area is to collect Star Advent Loot Crates and Gravity Crystals. Some of the crates will contain gravity-warped Deviants, so if you want to collect them all, watch out for these containers.
On the other hand, Gravity Crystals can be used to unlock rewards in the Visional Wheel exclusive event. By doing so, you can unlock weapon skins, charms, avatars, and more. However, there’s a limit on this currency, so keep that in mind while you’re exploring.
RaidZone and Endless Dream Scenario
These two game modes are launching on early access alongside the 1.6.1 update for Once Human. The former is a dedicated PvP mode while the latter is a Scenario.
For RaidZone, players will begin with nothing and must amass resources, craft gear, and protect themselves from other Meta-Humans. You can also use Ursula, your faithful Deviant, who will evolve alongside you. However, doing so will have consequences, such as triggering a settlement phase. So far, many players have described this as a Rust-like mode, so if you’re into that but prefer the looks and gameplay of Once Human, it’s a perfect time to try it.
On the other hand, the Endless Dream Scenario will feature a fully explorable map from the start. Around these huge areas, you’ll encounter Dream Zones that you must purify. The kicker here is that the Scenario focused on player-driven progression and will even feature multiple endings. You can either save the world or watch it get obliterated, depending on the process you make throughout the Scenario.
Overall, Once Human is packed with new content for all players, whether you want some PvP action, face Eternal Dreamers in the new Scenario, or jump through some zero-gravity fields, now’s the perfect time to jump into the game.
