The Family Legacy quest in Once Human will take you you to various high-level areas. You can easily pick it up by heading over to a house in the Evergreen area. However, puzzles and map locations can be hard to understand and follow. I wrote up exactly how to complete the Family Legacy quest’s cube code in Once Human and detailed the rewards for your convenience.

Family Legacy Quest Location

To get the quest at all, head for the town of Evergreen and enter the house at coordinates (4497, -2558). When inside the home, you’ll be prompted to begin the quest. If you’re still a little lost, you can locate the quest by following the blue exclamation mark icon on the map. Once it appears, you can press the Y key to follow the quest or keep it in your tasks for later.

Puzzle Solution

The first thing you’ll encounter in the Family Legacy quest is the cube code, a puzzle involving lettered blocks. To resolve it, you must flip the blocks until they read U, 6, and D from left to right. After doing so, a chest will appear behind it with a Rosette Researcher’s map to the next location. To make things easier on you, just head over to the Alternative Realist Research Institute on the far left-hand side of the map.

Once you reach the Alternative Reality Research Institute, head for the southernmost building and to the staircase on the northeast side. You’ll notice several white, office-like rooms when you climb to the top. Bypass them all until you find the one that has a crate inside, as pictured above. Open it to complete A Family Legacy and earn rewards.

Rewards

Once you open the chest and finish the quest, you’ll earn:

  • 600 Energy Links.
  • 4,800 EXP.
  • 105 Battle Pass Exp.
  • 14 Stellar Planulas.
  • Level Three Eclipse Cortex.
