  • How To Find Every Crate

The full release of Once Human 1.0 saw quite a few changes both big and small. One of these changes concerns the Forgotten Monolith — or it would if the location name remained the same. One thing that might confuse players hunting down the location of the Forgotten Monolith in Once Human is that its name changed from the beta. Now, the map and game will refer to the same area as the “Forsaken Monolith.” We’ll help you track down its location, but to keep things simple, we’ll still refer to it by its initial name, the Forgotten Monolith.

The Forgotten Monolith is not an easy area. You should be at level 50 at the least, as the zone is loaded with high-level enemies that can easily take you down. Even so, those of you a few levels down from 50 may still take this challenge on if you have the right gear.

If you’re prepared to enter the danger zone, you can locate the Forgotten Monolith in Red Sands near the west side. For specific coordinates, try heading to (1933, -1486). It should get you to where you need to be.

Those of you who have already reached this zone can simply use the Teleportation Tower to jump right inside. Otherwise, you’ll enter via the north road where you’ll notice several enemies around the main gate. Fighting your way through this gate can quickly take a lot out of you. So, be sure you have the strongest gear for your character. These enemies won’t let you stroll into the place without a tough fight.

With the location of the Forgotten Monolith nailed down in Once Human, there’s something else for us to do. Seasonal quests aside, we need to track down the crates.

Scoring some high-level loot in Once Human is always a good thing, and thankfully the Forgotten Monolith features plenty of it. The map above gives a good idea of where you can go to find these four crates:

  • Weapon Crate: The easiest way to see this glowing crate is from the Teleporter. If you retrace your steps back down the path, you’ll see the crate sitting inside a sectioned walkway.
  • Mystical Crate: Enter the main building with the “Rosetta” name above the large entrance. Go right twice until you see the staircase by an elevator. Go up until the first landing, take a right, and use the Access Card to enter the room. The crate is to your left.
  • Gear Crate 1: Your next Once Human Forgotten Monolith crate is nearly in the same location. Backtrack out of the room with the Mystical Crate and go up the staircase in front of you. The Gear Crate is waiting in the center of the structure.
  • Gear Crate 2: From the Gear Crate 1 location, glide back down to where you started. Instead of the staircase by the elevator, you’ll want to go across toward the TVs with the red screens. Run up the stairs to the first landing, make a slight right, and then veer left. Keep going until you see the Gear Crate.

Remember that you will probably still be fighting your way through enemies as you track down these crates. The gear within is more than worth the journey.
