You learn early in Once Human how useful Energy Links are as a form of currency. Considering that this is Once Human we’re talking about here, there are ways to get more Energy Links quickly and easily. Rare Crystal Sets help you do just that, but, of course, they’re a lot thicker to get than they sound. Let’s take a look at how to get and use Rare Crystal Sets in Once Human.

How to Get Rare Crystal Sets

Rare Crystal Sets are a randomly selected Memetic Specialization after you reach Level 40. Unfortunately, Memetic Specializations are an RNG; you won’t know which four you can choose from until you’re face-to-face with them. However, so long as you have additional Specialization Memory Cleanses, you can reset and try for the Rare Crystal Set. After the set has been selected, you’ll automatically be able to craft them in an Electric Furnace. You can go into your Memetics by pressing the O key.

How to Use Rare Crystal Sets

To use these sets, you need to have an Electric Furnace. It’s located in the third tier of the Infrastructure Memetics category. To create one, you need to have the following:

  • 12 Platinum Crystals.
  • 15 Beryllium Crystals.
  • 15 Vanadium Crystals.

Then, using those same crystals, you can convert them in the Electric Furnace. What are you supposed to do with them now? Sell them, of course! They each sell for roughly 12,000 Energy Links. If you’re like me and have hundreds of unused Memetics just because you don’t have enough Energy Links to purchase them, this is a game changer. You’ll never need to worry about walking or riding across the map to your next location again (not that I’ve had to do that).
