Tungsten Ore is the last level of mineral resources you can mine in Once Human. It’s everywhere you look when you reach the Red Sands area alongside other ores like Copper and Aluminum. Now, finding it is one thing, but farming it is something else entirely. Let’s go over where to find Tungsten Ore in Once Human and how to farm it.

Where To Find Tungsten Ore

You can find Tungsten Ore in Red Sands. This area is relatively high-level, with a recommended starting level of 43. The ores are silver, like the Aluminum ores, but they are a bit darker. You can find them more easily using an Ore Detector III.

There are two ways to farm Tungsten Ore:

  • Build a Mining Operation Platform on your base in the Red Sands area.
  • Use the Advanced Drill on any Tungsten Ore that you do find to yield more than if you were using an Alloy pickaxe.

The Mining Operation Platform can be unlocked in the fifth level of the Infrastructure Memetics category for ten Meme Points and 5,000 Energy Links. With it, you can mine large amounts of selected ores in the area with the help of Digby Boy deviants. To build the Mining Operation Platform, you need:

  • 25 Tungsten Ingots.
  • 30 Electronic Parts.
  • 15 Metal Scraps.
  • 15 Adhesives.
  • 20 Rubbers.
  • Four Storage Batteries.

As for the drill, I am personally using the Solar Drill that I earned via the Memetics Specialization skill I earned at Level 20. However, if you aren’t as lucky as I am, you can unlock the Advanced Drill for ten Meme Points and 5,000 Energy Links. To build it, you will need:

  • 40 Tungsten Ingots.
  • 35 Automatic Parts.
  • 20 Electronic Parts.
  • 35 Bulletproof Fiber Fabric.
  • Three Storage Batteries.
