When someone uses DoorDash, they expect their food to be delivered right to their doorstep and that it won’t take long. This is why many would keep checking where their driver is currently. That was what a Texas man was doing, but he then noticed on the app that his driver was right outside, yet wasn’t moving. Rather than wait for him, he went outside to get the food himself and see what happened. That was when he found out that the police pulled over his DoorDash driver. The man was filming himself as he approached the police stop and repeatedly said he was aggravated. He wasn’t exactly worried about his driver’s safety; he just went there because he didn’t want his food to get cold.
Instead of looking at the situation seriously and leaving, the Texas man didn’t want to go back home without his food. He started asking the officers to bring him his food, and one of them refused, saying there was no food in the driver’s car. Thankfully, another officer came over and checked the car to look for the order. Once he found it, he finally gave it to the impatient customer. The guy definitely found the situation funny, though, because he started laughing and asking the officers to drive him to Cane’s so he could remake his order. This video was also his evidence of what happened, and he ended up getting a refund. Unfortunately, he didn’t find out why his driver was arrested but at least he didn’t go home empty-handed.

More people kept joking about what happened to the Texas man as one person wrote, “He fighting for his freedom and you fighting for some damn tenders lmaoooooo that bread do be worth it tho.” Not everyone found it funny, as some people believed the customer should have cared about the driver getting arrested. “The fact you care nothing about why he’s getting arrested shows the state of the world. And that food is in evidence. So get the refund and try again. Talking about can I get my food. Sir please. We’re not letting you take anything out that car. Sounds foolish,” someone wrote. Still, the police would probably not tell him what happened even if he asked.
