After two years, Netflix has finally unveiled the premiere date for season 3 of Outer Banks with the first images of the new outing. The ten-episode return will hit the streamer on February 23. On Twitter, it showed off the new look at the upcoming season (seen below), with more images revealed on the company’s site.
Outer Banks season 3 will have a lot to tackle after the conclusion of its previous season in 2021. Ward (Charles Easten) faked his death, he and Rafe (Drew Starkey) almost killed Sarah (Madelyn Cline) for the golden cross, Pogues is on an island, and during the final moments, it was revealed that John B’s father (Charles Halford) was not killed by Ward. With so many twists and reveals, the next outing should be quite the ride for fans who had been patiently waiting for a return.
The images of Outer Banks season 3 give some hints as to what we can expect from the characters. It appears that Pogues is at a new location, away from the island. In an image on Netflix’s website, we see Pope (Jonathan Daviss) and Cleo (Carlacia Grant) having a good time on a boat. Things get another lighter note as we see Kiara (Madison Bailey) and JJ (Rudy Pankow) getting intimate. The most ensemble image shows JJ, Sarah, Cleo, John B, and Pope lying in a patch of dry grass, looking intently at something off screen.
