Outrage erupted online after two Massachusetts high school students allegedly used racial slurs toward an Asian woman.
The woman shared a video featuring a picture of the two students and explained that the incident happened after she was leaving Boston University. She alleged that the two students drove alongside her car before using the n-word and another racial slur targeting Asian people. According to her, the slurs were directed at both her and her mother.
She added that the two students used the slurs without being provoked. “They just yelled at us for no reason,” the woman said. She then shared a short clip showing the two students inside their car, along with a picture of their license plate.
The woman said she learned one of the boys’ names after his friend called him by it. She also believed they attended Boston College High School because it was located near her university. She then showed that she had visited the school’s website and emailed the listed members to inform them about the alleged racist incident.
In the caption, the college student said that the boys also began hiding their faces after noticing that she was filming them. “Again don’t send any hate, I just want justice and for these institutions to realize they’re not able to sweep these instances under the rug,” she told viewers.

After the original video gained significant attention, the woman shared an update. She said she had been in contact with several members of the high school, who decided to open an investigation into the situation. She added that the school understood the gravity of the allegations, especially since the principal was newly appointed and is also a person of color.
The woman then alleged that a faculty member threatened to involve the school’s attorney after she came forward, though this claim has not been independently confirmed. She also alleged that she had been receiving harassing comments on a daily basis. In addition, she said that some of the school’s alumni had reached out to her and claimed they had experienced similar situations.
In her most recent update, the college student said she had shared her experience with racism with several news outlets. She added that the faculty was currently keeping her “in the dark” about the investigation they allegedly opened. She also alleged that several other racist incidents had occurred at Boston College High School.
The woman added that the two boys had not been showing up at school for several days. “Make an example out of these kids and call for expulsion,” she said. She also argued that if a person of color had displayed the same behavior instead of these “white kids,” they would have been expelled immediately. In addition to the video, she claimed that the boys had allegedly been removed from their sports teams. As of now, it is unclear whether the school will take any further action against the students.
