Overwatch 2 is a multiplayer game and sometimes the competitive aspect of it can be too much for many players. Especially if you just want to chill with some of your friends and pass the free time you have. This is where you can set up a custom match for yourself and your friends in Overwatch 2 and here is how to do it.

How to Set Up a Custom Match in Overwatch 2

There are many reasons why you might want to have your own custom match in Overwatch 2. Whether it is you want to only play with friends or are simply tired of all the competitive matches, we got you covered.

It is not that difficult to make a custom match in Overwatch 2 actually. First sign in to your account and select Play. In there you should be able to see the Custom Games. Press the input for Create Game and this will take you to the lobby where you are in control.

In this lobby you can add friends, compete against AI, and change everything related to the match. On the left column, you can choose who can join the lobby. In Setting, you can also set a Preset to your favorite mode so it would be set up automatically to that each time you make a custom match.

Apart from them, you have full control over all the standard settings of the match like lobby size, rules, restrict maps, or heroes. You can also save your created lobby on the right side. From the same place, you should be able to share the lobby with anyone you want to play with.

Once you make a custom match, you will get the hang of it and also save your settings to save some time.

Overwatch 2 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
