Overwatch 2 Season 4 is set to bring a new wave of excitement to the popular hero-shooter game. The new Season 4 is slated to begin on April 11, 2023, and will last for nine weeks. Blizzard has confirmed that the game will be undergoing a significant change this season by removing the map pool.

New Hero

One of the most exciting additions in Overwatch 2 Season 4 is the arrival of a new hero. Unlike previous seasons, Blizzard will alternate between adding new maps and new heroes, with the focus in Season 4 being on a new hero. Map Pool

The map roster also needed more maps where they were needed, and the impact they had on the seasonal identity was minimal.
