Overwatch 2 players will soon be able to get their hands on some special One Punch Man skins and cosmetics as part of an upcoming event. The latest addition to the crossover skins has been revealed as Kiriko cosplaying as Terrible Tornado, one of the most powerful heroes in the One Punch Man universe.

The One Punch Man x Overwatch 2 Kiriko event will begin on March 7, 2023, and conclude on April 6, 2023, giving players plenty of time to collect all of the crossover skins and cosmetics. In addition to Kiriko and Doomfist, players can also look forward to Soldier 76 as Mumen Rider and other exciting additions.

Speaking to Xbox Wire, Art Director Dion Rogers explained that Kiriko was a great choice for the Terrible Tornado skin, as she is a new hero in Overwatch 2 who needs some new cosmetics. Additionally, Rogers noted that Kiriko’s base silhouette already resembled Terrible Tornado, making the cosplay transition a natural choice.

To ensure that the skins feel unique, the Overwatch 2 team has presented them as the heroes in the game, cosplaying as One Punch Man characters. Rogers even joked that Doomfist, who is getting his own Saitama skin, is a big anime fan.

The Terrible Tornado skin will be purchased using in-game coins, costing players 2,100 coins. It will come bundled with the Terribly Impressive Victory Pose and the Terrible Tornado namecard.

Fans of both franchises will no doubt be eager to see how the characters and worlds of these two beloved universes collide in this exciting event.

The bundle is a great opportunity for players looking to expand their hero roster and dominate the battlefield in Overwatch 2. 1,000 Overwatch Coins are included to give you plenty of in-game currency to purchase cosmetic items and customize your heroes to your liking.

Additionally, you can instantly access Legendary and Mythic content by using your Overwatch Coins to unlock Tiers in the Premium Battle Pass. This is a great way to enhance your gameplay experience and gain access to rare and exclusive rewards.
