A woman from Dallas, Texas, was left in tears after her boyfriend planned a grand rooftop proposal overlooking the city skyline, complete with rose petals, candles, and a coordinated drone display lighting up the night sky. Family and friends, all dressed in black, were also present to witness the moment and record the surprise as it unfolded.
In one of the videos she uploaded on TikTok, the woman was led in by her boyfriend, who appeared to have instructed her to keep her eyes closed. When she opened them, she was visibly overwhelmed to see the entire rooftop decorated and her loved ones standing around them. Her shock deepened when drones in the sky began rising into formation, creating glowing patterns, shapes, and words that appeared to spell out Will You Marry Me, and her boyfriend got down on one knee.

The woman could not contain her emotions as she leaned into him repeatedly, crying and smiling at the same time as he presented the ring. After she accepted to marry him, the drones reformed to read, She Said Yes. In another video, which has received over 30 million views and more than 8 million likes, the woman, still tear-streaked and beaming, pointed toward the drones now arranged as the couple’s initials inside a heart. She joked to viewers, saying, “Y’all man didn’t get y’all this.”
According to the now bride-to-be, the couple met years ago while in college, and she said she had felt from early on that he was meant to be in her life. Over time, their relationship grew through patience, faith, and mutual support, with her describing him as her best friend and safe place.
