Ozzy Osbourne’s tour for 2023 was scrapped as the legendary singer announced his retirement from touring back in February. However, it seems he is now set for an unexpected early comeback.
Ozzy, the husband of Sharon Osbourne, has not had a clean bill of health in a very long time. Apart from being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, he has been battling various health problems in recent years.
The 74-year-old rocker also underwent a major spinal surgery in 2022, which took a toll on his physical strength. The operation came after the musician suffered a nasty fall and dislodged metal rods placed in his spine following a 2003 quad-bike accident.
It was expected that Osbourne’s surgery would keep him inactive for some time but the legendary rocker assured fans he would be back in no time. Osbourne was even slated to kick off his European tour in May after it had been rescheduled three times.
However, Osbourne left his fans heartbroken when he announced his retirement from touring via an emotional Instagram post on February 1.

Ozzy Osbourne’s Tour U-turn
Barely a few weeks after announcing his retirement from touring, it is looking like Ozzy Osbourne may tour again after the “No More Tears” crooner hinted at a comeback.
The “Black Sabbath” frontman roared back at claims that he was done saying “he is not dead yet.” Osbourne also revealed he could be getting back on the road soon but that would be dependent on what his doctors advise.
Fans were left disappointed after Ozzy Osbourne’s tour dates for 2023 were canceled without being rescheduled. However, it seems fans may soon get to see the enigmatic singer hit their cities with his band.
While appearing on the latest episode of Sirius XM’s “Ozzy Speaks,” the singer claimed he was working hard to get back on his feet. However, he admitted that he could not put a timeline on when he would be able to hit the road.
Osbourne also explained how his wife Sharon Osbourne — who also doubles as his manager — has warned him against constantly canceling tours.
The hitmaker also took the opportunity to hit back at some unflattering reports about his wealth. He said:
“The f****** Press drive you nuts. I mean, I looked in the magazine: “Ozzy’s on his last legs.”
He continued:
“I’m f****** not dying… come on, guys. Haven’t I had it bad enough already? If I get okay today, if the doctor said to me today: “Oh, you can tour,” it would take another six months to get it together, you know?'”
Osbourne went on to talk about his health woes and detailed all the challenges he faces — from walking with a cane to many sleepless nights. Despite the struggles, Osbourne is still adamant that he can make a swift return to doing what he loves so much.
