Palia offers you an exciting yet cozy life sim experience. You have to create a character with a unique appearance and go on an adventure in Kilima Village. There, you will find many NPCs who need your help. With some, you can even start a romantic relationship. However, the game has many other activities, such as catching fish. Each species spawns in different places and at different times, so sometimes fishing turns into a challenge. So, read on to find out how to find and catch Fairy Carp in Palia.

Some fish may be required for quests, some for cooking, but you can sell all of them for Gold. The rarer the type of Palia fish, the more expensive it is. For example, Fairy Carp costs 360 Gold. If you can get the star-quality version, however, the price will grows to 540 Gold. This isn’t surprising since the Fairy Carp is a Rare fish in Palia. Like other rare fish, this Carp spawns in only a few locations. To be more precise, in several lakes:

  • Mirror Pond Ruins in the north of Kilima Village
  • Lake west of Leafhopper Hills in Kilima Village
  • Lake near Hodari and Najuma’s House in Bahari Bay

It seems that Fairy Carp does not like rivers and seas. In addition, this fish has a strict schedule. Therefore, you can only find it in the morning or evening.

How to Catch Fairy Carp

Besides the fact that Fairy Carp spawns in several places and at certain times, it also prefers a special type of bait in Palia. Therefore, before you go fishing, you should stock up on Worms:

  • Buy from the General Store for 10 Gold
  • Receive from Zeki’s Wondrous Machine
  • Grow on Worm Farms

After that, head to one of the lakes in the morning or evening. It is also worth noting that you’ll want to craft a better fishing rod if you are still using the starting one. Cast the line into the water and wait for the fish to bite. It may take you a few tries, but you’ll soon be able to catch Fairy Carp in Palia.
