Whether you’re an experienced player or just starting in the colorful world of Palia, fishing is an integral part of your gameplay. After all, fish is not only food but also a great source of income or a gift for NPCs. Of course, it won’t be difficult for you to catch a couple of random fish. But to find a specific fish among more than 80 unique species, you must visit water bodies, use different types of baits, and fish at certain times of the day. If you need a Cutthroat Trout, we are here to help you and tell you where to find it in Palia.
Where To Catch Cutthroat Trout in Palia
To find Cutthroat Trout in Palia, you must go to the Bahari Bay area and fish in the local rivers. You can catch this fish at any time of the day, so you don’t have to worry about it. But as for the bait, you should use Worm. Cutthroat Trout is a picky eater and won’t bite if you select No Bait or Glow Worm.
Although you can fish in any river in the Bahari Bay area, we suggest you focus your search along the long rivers between Thorny Thicket and Statue Garden or between Statue Garden and Proudhorn Pass. Walking along these reservoirs, you can notice a lot of water ripples, and we advise you to fish in these places. Of course, water ripples do not increase your chance of catching rarer or specific fish, but you are more likely to get the Quality version of the catch.
If you’re new to the game and don’t know where to get Worm, you can use one of two methods:
- First, you can buy Worm from the General Store for 10 Gold each.
- If you have reached Fishing level 4, visit the Einar NPC and buy the Worm Farm recipe for 500 Gold. After that, you can create this station and farm one Worm per hour.
How To Use Cutthroat Trout in Palia
As an Uncommon fish, the Palia Cutthroat Trout is of little value. But you can still use it in one of the following ways:
- You can sell the Cutthroat Trout for 70 Gold or 105 Gold if you catch the Quality version of this fish.
- You can also use this fish to cook delicious meals like Trout Dinner.
- Some NPCs may ask you to bring the Cutthroat Trout as part of the weekly quest.
